Dr. Romero was raised in a small town in Cuba, but always had big dreams. Since a very young age, she found it in her nature to make others smile. She accomplished this through friendship, kindness, and her natural ability to form strong bonds with others. However, the most significant took place when she had the privilege of enrolling in a special needs school to help the other students. She learned sign language to better help them form relationships. This brought a smile to their faces. From that point on, she associated a smile with happiness. This led her to pursue dentistry. She found a dental career ideal so that she could form, improve, and maintain smiles for others while making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Romero graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2022 where she was invested into the Matthew Cryer Honor Society. Before studying and graduating as a dentist in the United States, she practiced dentistry in her home country Cuba as well as in Venezuela. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
